THE QUESTION

"Did you wash your face?", "Stop eating fried food.", "Eat healthy", "How did you get ur acne?", HOW ABOUT GO FUCK YOURSELF AS IF I'M NOT TRYING TO SOLVE MY ACNE, I AM AWARE OF IT SO PLEASE STFU. THESE INSENSITIVE FUCKS DON'T KNOW WHAT I'VE BEEN TRYING TO SOLVE MY FUCKING ACNE FOR YEARS. Tretinoin, adapalene, benzoyl peroxide, I am month 2 on accutane and I have to stop because of blood test. Honestly, fuck you acne and everyone else that are so fucking annoying.

TL;DR

Acne often stems from deeper bodily imbalances, not just surface-level skin issues. Simplistic advice like "wash your face" or "eat healthy" usually falls short. A more holistic approach is needed to address the root causes.

THE RESPONSE

What’s actually going on here

I feel you, friend. It's incredibly frustrating to have well-meaning people give you the same old tired advice about your skin when you've been battling this for so long. The truth is, chronic skin conditions like acne or eczema aren't just a surface-level problem - they're often rooted in deeper imbalances in the body. That's why the typical "just wash your face" and "eat healthy" suggestions usually fall flat. The real fix requires taking a holistic look at what's going on beneath the skin. Our guide The Acne Fix walks through this in detail, outlining an approach called The Active Treatment Protocol. The key is addressing the root causes, not just the symptoms. Start by doing a Reality Audit - take an honest look at your current skincare routine, stress levels, gut health, and any other factors that could be contributing to your breakouts. From there, you can build a Strategic Skincare System tailored to your unique needs. This might include supplements, dietary changes, and a targeted treatment plan. It's not a quick fix, but when you take this comprehensive approach, that's when the real transformation happens. Suddenly, your skin starts to clear up for good, not just temporarily. You'll feel more confident and in control of your skin, instead of at the mercy of those pesky flare-ups. I know the journey isn't easy, but trust me, it's worth it. Stick with it, and you'll get to a place where you're no longer the one dealing with intrusive skin advice - you'll be the one giving out the real solutions.
